EMO Hannover -CECIMO’s “International Conference on Additive Manufacturing”

Organized during EMO Hannover 2017, CECIMO’s “International Conference on Additive Manufacturing” aims to capture some of the most interesting advancements in this fast-evolving landscape. Industry leaders, high-level researchers and policy-makers will illustrate and discuss some of the latest solutions to accelerate AM deployment in the factory. The final panel debate with AM experts will address more in detail challenges and opportunities for scaling up industrial additive technologies. The conference will be promoted by the EU KRAKEN project, a forward-looking initiative focusing on the development of a hybrid, automated multi-material machine.

EDA EXHIBITION ON EXPLORING ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING IMPACT IN DEFENCE CAPABILITIES

On behalf of the European Defence Agency (EDA), in the framework of the project “Additive manufacturing feasibility study and technology demonstration”, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the EDA Exhibition “Exploring Additive Manufacturing impact in Defence capabilities”. The event will be held in Gijón (ES) on 12 September 2017.

The main objective of the event is to showcase the state of the art of the technology and current commercial applications and to raise awareness among on the capabilities that additive manufacturing technologies can bring to the defence sector and its potential for different applications. Moreover, different stands for exhibitors have been organized.

Additive manufacture as a tool to create live in 3D Workshop

July 26-27, 2017

CEITEC, Brno-Czech Republic

ABOUT: The aim of the workshop is to bring together local and foreign scientist in fields of engineering, biology and clinicians interested on of biomaterials, tissue engineering and stem cells to present and discuss their latest scientific developments and find how additive manufacturing can solve real clinical problems. We expect the establishment of strong research collaborations and deep overview of the state of the art.

WHO: Confirmed distinguished speakers include Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra (UPC-Spain), Prof. Xavier Gil (UPC-Spain), Prof. Aleš Hampl (FM-MU, Czech Republic), David Salamon Ph.D. (CEITEC-BUT, Czech Republic) and David Paloušek (FME-BUT, Czech Republic).
