The case
describes reconstruction of a skull defect in a youg girl, which suffered a car
accident with loss of large part of her right skull. The implant was made out
of medical grade Ti by Electron Beam Melting. The implant was designed by U
Maastricht and the operation performed by Dr. Jules Poukens, dep.
Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital AZM.
