The AM European Forum 2016 was born from two strategic H2020 Coordinated Support Actions: “AM-Motion: A strategic approach to increasing Europe’s value proposition for Additive Manufacturing technologies and capabilities” and “FoFAM: Industrial and Regional Valorization of FoF AM projects”, and counts with the endorsement of the AM Platform. The event will be held with inclusion of the 18th AM-Platform meeting.

The event will bring together policy makers, industry leaders, small to medium-sized enterprises, as well as universities, research and technology centres and other key stakeholders. The debate on the economic, social and technical challenges urging to be solved can accelerate the AM market uptake in the digitalisation era.

Standardization practical workshop for projects with CEN/CENELEC

In the framework of CEN/TC 438 ‘Additive Manufacturing’ programme of activities and in collaboration with FoFAM project (Horizon2020), CEN and CENELEC would like to invite you to the workshop ‘Standardization in Additive Manufacturing’ at CEN and CENELEC Management Centre, on 10 November 2016, in Brussels. Agenda attached.
This workshop aims at strengthening the link between European research programs and standardization in Additive Manufacturing.The goal is to provide general information about European standardization and benefits standards can bring, to give an insight on standardization activities in the field of AM and provide examples and guidance about how to concretely link between research and standardization activities.
